The idea took shape during a walk along the Camogli promenade, nestled between the sea and the colorful houses of Liguria. In that moment, I realized something was missing from the market: elevator shoes that were truly beautiful, authentic, and Italian.

My name is Federico, I am 28 years old, and I am the founder of Matassa Milano.

When I started, the market was dominated by low-quality products—mostly imported, made with subpar materials, and featuring zero attention to detail.
